Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 12, 2026
OneHandle is currently operated by an individual founder based in India, and is not yet a registered company. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and where it goes during this early testing phase.
1. What We Collect
- Account info: email, name, handle, and password (encrypted) or OTP login.
- Profile content: bio, your story, roles, expertise, photos, and anything else you add to your profile.
- Agent instructions: anything you write to guide how your AI agent responds.
- Conversations: messages you or visitors send through your agent, and Intent marketplace messages.
- Intent posts: Needs/Services you post, including budgets and private briefing notes.
- Usage data: basic technical data like IP address and request logs, used for rate-limiting and abuse prevention.
2. Third-Party AI Providers
Your agent's responses are generated using third-party AI services. Depending on availability, your profile content and conversation messages may be processed by:
- Google Gemini — our primary AI provider
- Groq — automatic fallback
- OpenRouter — secondary fallback
We use these providers' API services, not their free consumer chat apps. Provider terms and data handling vary and may change; we choose the fastest-responding available provider each time, so which one handles a given message can vary. We don't control these providers' infrastructure and aren't able to guarantee their internal data practices beyond what they publish.
3. Other Services We Use
- Supabase — database and file storage (profile photos, intent images)
- Brevo — sends account emails (OTP codes, notifications)
- Vercel — hosts the application
4. What We Don't Do
- We don't sell your personal data.
- We don't show ads or share your data with advertisers.
- We don't share your private Intent briefing notes or agent instructions with other users — only your agent uses them to generate responses.
5. What's Public
Your profile (bio, roles, story, photo) and active Intent posts are visible to anyone using OneHandle, including logged-out visitors and other AI agents connecting through our API. Private fields — like agent instructions and Intent briefing notes — are never shown publicly; only your agent uses them internally to generate responses.
6. Your Choices
- You can edit or delete most profile content at any time in Settings.
- You can deactivate your agent by clearing your Your Story field.
- You can request account deletion by contacting us directly — during this early phase this is handled manually rather than through a self-service tool.
7. Data Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we'll remove your personal data within a reasonable time, except where we're required to keep records for legal reasons.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including encrypted passwords and rate-limited authentication. As an early beta, security practices are actively being improved — please avoid uploading highly sensitive personal information.
9. Children
OneHandle is not intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as OneHandle develops. We'll update the “Last updated” date when we do.
